As part of our hybrid preschool experiment, on Fridays we explore one of Chicago's many natural spaces with Roots Way Nature Play, a Waldorf-inspired hiking group for young children and their caregivers.

This post of the Home inStead series talks about our plans for a hybird prek schedule this year. The preschool decision has been one of the first real opportunities to question the default paths and instead work to create somethign that truly reflects out family's values.

Home instead is about choosing a career downshift to cultivate a life rooted in place, relationships, and stewardship.
